This site is devoted to my ramblings and comments on what I spot/hear is going on in Berkhamsted.

If you have a view or would like to hear what I think about something, then by all means e-mail and either I will follow it up on this site or on the Town site.

Both this site and the ‘berko’ one is funded by myself as I believe the Town needs an alternative source of information about what goes on and let’s be honest, it will never make money, nor is it intended to. On the other hand, if you would like to offer support either by sponsoring some or all of it, or perhaps you have a contribution to make, then get in touch.

As I was an Independent Councillor on the Town and Borough Councils of 1995/9, you may be interested in what was the aim of the independent group. I trust you believe it should apply to all political groups as I certainly do not have any problem with it.

The Aim of the Independents

‘To safeguard the interests of all residents & taxpayers, both collectively and individually, without being influenced by party politics, to promote just, efficient & effective local government and encourage the electorate and the business community to take an interest and become involved in local affairs

You could even visit the Berko forum to ask questions or have a view on Berkhamsted matters.
